Blackbird and Alden for the Leschi Picnic Saddle Oxford

Sooner or later, the prolific heads of Blackbird had to join forces with a leading shoemaker. With Alden of New England they found a field-proven bootmaker whereby the Leschi Picnic Saddle Oxford has been developed. The shape, classic low-heeled saddle profile, was inspired by Seattle historical figure, Frank Osgood who substantially had influence on Seattle’s street culture and city landscape. A bright color contrast of suede and smooth calf leathers in navy and black adds a dandyish edge to the classic shape, while an antique colored Goodyear single welt construction ensures these pair to be used on numerous occasions.
