The R8 GT

The R8 GT

A milestone in Audi’s design history, a mark in supercar history and a market revitalization to reawaken the competition, that’s what the R8 caused back in 2006. Today, the Ingolstädter officially introduced a further sharpened edition of the R8, namely the R8 GT. Highly improved aerodynamics, a weight reduction to a total of just 3.362 lbs in tune with a 560 horsepower corralling R8 5.2 FSI Quattro unleashes pure, concentrated power for a new Audi experience. Limited to 333 editions, it’s a matter of course that the GT causes sensation with exclusive design refinements, such as dozens of carbon-fiber parts among those the signature sling-blades, 19-inch five-spoke wheels in titanium gray, a power heralding front fascia, and an in matte, carbon fiber finished and lowered rear wing. Alongside a zero to 62 sprint in 3.6 seconds, the R8 GT achieves to fuse elegant design lines with track-performance for the most demanding driver.
