Almost missed this one, MINI has officially unveiled their newest horse in the staple, the MINI coupé. The coupé exhibits a sporty, Gran Turismo inspired silhouette mixed with a MINI’s typical visual characteristics such as the big eyes and curvy design line. However, the coupé is not just a chopped MINI, it also is 52mm lower than the regular Cooper and provides overall improved aerodynamics inclusively an, at 50mph, automatically extending rear spoiler. The coupé will be available in MINI’s typical three standard editions, the Cooper with a 8.3 seconds, 121-horsepower engine, the S with a twin-scroll turbocharged 181 hp version good for a 6.5 seconds sprint and the leading JWC version with 208 horsepower and a scant 6 seconds time.
