Jaguar’s Power Cat – the 2010 XFR

Fast, powerful, and elegant these are the attributes of nature’s fearless beasts. Jaguar always strives to imitate the animals formidable appearance, and its new high-performance sedan is supposed to be that street-cat. The 2010 XFR fits that elegant beast-suit very well without appealing overdressed – the subtle spoilers and the smooth flanks provide a level of simplicity which harmonizes with the mean lowered body. The power for this sedan comes from a bulked-up 5L version of Jaguar’s supercharged AJ V8 engine which delivers 510-horsepower offering a 4.7 seconds cat sprint and a top speed of 155 mph. However to handle this beast, Jaguar overhauled the paddle-shift ZF six-speed automatic transmission and increased the breaks, just in case.
