Jaguar unveiled its new high-performance variant of the XKR at the Geneva Motor Show. Previously, the Jaguar XK and the sporty variant XKR compressor were automatically braked at around 155 mp/h. This mark was announced to be exceeded to a phenomenal number of 185 mp/h, exclusively for the limited XKR-S. Instead, the recalibrated engine management system only managed to boost the 4.2 liter V8 to a top speed of 174 mp/h which isn’t less impressive to drive with. The “magical” 185 mp/h mark didn’t ruptured once again, contrary to the British’s announcement. Modifications on the chassis such as the unique body-kit,0.4 inches lower height and the trademark “Ultimate Black” paint-job, brakes and aerodynamics differentiate this sporty variant to its brother. Inside, the S gets a full leather interior and a 525 Watt B&W sound system.
