Lenovo is promoting its new ultra portable sub-notebook with the direct comparison to Macs paper-thin MacBook Air, so what does the X300 feature what the drive-missing Air is missing. Got the point, well the Lenovos Air rival comes with around 0.30 inches more in height and without that modern eye-candy sleek design but it knows to satisfy. The Thinkpad X300 features a highly recommended removable battery, thus you may not go out of power while being in “air” on the way to your next meeting, the mentioned integrated optical drive, WiFi and ethernet, three USB ports, a 13.3” LED screen with 1440 x 900 max resolution. Of course, everything weight optimized to around a total weight of 3.1lbs to face the opponent adequately.
