Seriously inspired by the Dorothy’s magic get-me-home shoes from the Wizard of Oz, the London designer Dominic Wilcox teamed up with Northamptonshire-based shoemaker Stamp Shoes to create a piece of bespoke GPS-enhanced leather shoes. This awesome shoes feature a GPS device embedded in the heel and a ring of LED lights, which shows the way back home whilst a row of lights shows your actual progress on the way and all that activated with a Dorothy-esque heel-click. A mapping software allows you to programm any destination you desire, so at least you can’t get lost anymore when you’ve enjoyed a few drams too much, no matter where you are.
