Apart the recently unveiled new horse in the Lotus stall, they also did an approach to join the eco-trend with a hemp and wool modified Elise. Carefully read, Lotus adorns its environmentally-friendly car with parts made of sustainable materials such as hemp, eco-wool and sisal. This cuts around 70lbs and allows the use of a water-based paint. Coming to the emissions, this vehicle uses two solar panels embedded in the ‘hemp’ roof to support the electrical household and the shifting will be light assisted and optimized for better fuel economy.
