Corum Golden Bridge Automatic Timekeeper

Any industry is propelled by a continuous pursuit of innovation, so is the world of fine watchmaking. At first glance, the Golden Bridge movement of the Swiss brand Corum appears brand new and a modern innovation, but it has already been introduced 30 years ago just to find its first climax in today’s introduction of the Golden Bridge automatic timekeeper. Corum devised a linear winding mechanism using a thin plate made of platinum that rapidly moves up and down mesmerizing its astonished viewers through the open sapphire case-back. The tonneau-shaped case, 37mm by 51.8mm of 18k red gold or 18k white gold, embodies the baguette-style calibre CO313 movement that has 18k gold hand-engraved plate and bridge, 26 jewels and features a power reserve of 40 hours, and one more peculiarity: a crown located at the bottom of the case.
