Cartier’s second Geneva Seal bearing timekeeper – the Tank Americaine Tourbillon Volant

Not so long ago, Cartier unveiled the impressive Ballon Bleau timekeeper which was honored with the highly remunerated Geneva Seal. The new Tank Americaine Tourbillon Volant preserves the Ballon Bleau’s sophisticated intricacy as it is driven by the same rewarded manual-wind caliber 9452MC Flying Tourbillon which bears the coveted Geneva Seal. The movement comprises 19 jewels and 142 spinning, moving and rotating parts beeping at 21,600 bph and providing a 50 hours power reserve. The younger square-cut sibling offers the same 18k pink gold eye-catching finish and a beveled crown set with a sapphire cabochon as highlight alongside the transparent case-back made of sapphire crystal.
