The CTS just earned the famous and desired „Motor Trend Car of the Year 2008“ award, now we present you its upgraded edition. The new CTS-V was created to rival the well known bulked up cars by other famous manufactures like the AMG models. This target makes it inevitable to put in enough power, the 6.2L V8 engine does not just sounds tasty, it’s the same engine which drives the Corvette ZR1. This engine will produce 550 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque and will be available with a six speed Tremec TR6060 manual gearbox or a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automatic. Not less to mention are the 19 inch wheels, the Bose sound system and of course a navi system.
