Bentley luxury grand tourer Mulsanne with a Touch of bygone Racing Spirit

Bentley luxury grand tourer Mulsanne with a Touch of bygone Racing Spirit

The British royal warrant Bentley introduces a grand tourer, which shares the name and the  passion for speed and power of an acclaimed 8-liter halo car from the 80′s, namely the Mulsanne. The name derives from the legendary corner of Le Mans, at the end of the high speed straight, thus it is obvious that Bentley wants to remind of their successful racing tradition including the comfort and elegance of today. Contrary all appearances, the only relation to the footprint-giving Arnage lays in the fact, that the Mulsanne was born out of the whole spectrum of changes and revisions, which were intended for the Arnage, ultimately ending up in an entirely new car. Integral part of every Bentley flagship, their signature humongous appearance that instantly exudes royal dignity, style and power. Not yet certificated, but the Mulsanne is touted to be driven by a 630 horsepower V8 state-of-the-art engine with ground-breaking technical features, not seen before in a Bentley luxury grand tourer. And of course, a breathtaking interior led by hand-crafted refinements and elegant wood trimmings, has to be obligatory in a car that directly ascends to “the pinnacle of the ultra-luxury segment”.
